Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Rainforest, ...

Australia has been one of my favorite travels. First reason is that we traveled with the whole family, including my parents, my brother and my sister. What is more precious than family?

Besides, this country, as big as a continent, is full of treasures and various sceneries. During this trip, we have discovered famous cities (Sydney, Melbourne), the red desert with the mythic Ayers Rock in Uluru, as well as the Mounts Olgas in Kata Tjuta, and finally we got some time around the rainforest and the great reef barrier in Queensland.

One thing that intrigued me in Australia, among thousands, it is the small green ants. It was the first time that I saw green ones and I was fascinated to see them move in pack, busy by their tasks for the wellness of their anthill.

Australia is full of species that we cannot encounter elsewhere, and it was an amazement to discover them along that trip.

The green ants

The red desert is known to be home for the Outback (the vast remote interior of Australia). The Outback is more remote than the bush, which includes any location outside the main urban areas. In few parts of the desert, we find the famous Ayers Rock (Uluru), the Mounts Olga (Kata Tjuta) and the Kings Canyons.
